I have been practicing law in Central Kentucky for the past 22 years. I graduated from Centre College in 1990 and then went on to graduate from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 1993. Upon graduation, I clerked for Judge Lewis Paisley and then went on to prosecute for the Fayette County Attorney's office. I have recently served as the co-president for the Fayette County Bar Family Law Section. I opened my own firm in 1998 and have been assisting clients with their legal issues ever since.
I graduated from Centre College in 2003 as a government
major and served as president of the Student Government Association.
I worked as a legal runner at Frost Brown Todd, Lexington, Kentucky,
during college and decided to attend law school at Regent University in
Virginia Beach, Virginia. Upon graduation in 2006, I served as law clerk for
the Honorable Gregory Lay, Circuit Judge of Laurel and Knox Counties,
Kentucky. I then practiced law as an associate with Crawford and Baxter,
PSC in Carrollton, Kentucky for five years. In 2012, I started my own
firm in Owenton, Kentucky, and then I moved my office to downtown Lexington in
2014. I have served as city attorney for three cities, Glencoe,
Ghent and Prestonville, Kentucky. I completed 40 hours of education
to become a mediator and that skill set is a major asset in my
practice. In 2016, I joined Jenny Scott and Associates as the
first associate of the firm. I am the current Fayette County Bar
Co-President of the Family Law Section.
