Second Saturday Divorce

Workshop for Women

In 1989, two California women started Second Saturday to provide women the support and crucial information needed to navigate the legal, emotional and financial aspects of divorce. Since that time, chapters have grown throughout the U.S.. Second Saturday has been featured in Fortune Magazine, MSNBC, Oprah Magazine, Money Magazine, the Washington Post, and many other media outlets. Jenny Scott is proud to be a founding member of the Central Kentucky chapter of Second Saturday.

Divorce can be one of the most stressful events in your life - but is guaranteed to be more stressful without the know-how.  Second Saturday offers non-biased financial, emotional and legal advice from qualified local professionals, providing people with the knowledge, support, resources and trust that they need to survive the divorce process and move forward with confidence toward a new life.

Our Central Kentucky chapter brings together experts from five different areas together in one space every month; A divorce attorney, divorce financial planner, real estate agent, lender, and therapist each give presentations with handouts on how to get through your divorce with as little pain as possible. Learn how to hire an attorney, stretch your legal dollar, navigate the legal system, increase your credit score, locate assets, invest your money, divide retirement accounts, whether you should sell your house, and many other useful tools for your divorce toolkit.

The Central Kentucky chapter meets every Second Saturday at 10:00 am over Zoom and is free! You can pre-register at www.centralkysecondsaturday.comLocal media outlets have promoted Second Saturday as a benefit for the Lexington community; Below are some of the television appearances by Jenny and her fellow presenters.
